London Bones are Stevan Bennett and Chris Bowers, who first met on London’s ’90s indie circuit playing with The Grooveyard—later cited as an influence by bands including The Bluetones and Stereolab. Chris went on to join Hopper (Factory Too) and has toured worldwide with artists such as Edwyn Collins and Bernard Butler, while Stevan built a BBC career in radio and production alongside work on the London spoken word scene. Together, they fuse infectious grooves with Bennett’s distinctive lyrics. Their debut album, Greetings from the UK, was released on their Chiswick Flo label in 2025.

Bennett Bowers was one of the foremost concert party singers of the second World War, delighting troops around the world and some say without his efforts, the outcome of the war may have been quite different. He was recently forced out of retirement by the current state of the nation, feeling compelled to pen a new tune, putting the world to rights in his own unique way!
